What is the iJewel Rhino Plugin?
The iJewel Rhino Plugin is a free command that iJewel3D publishes for Rhino. It sends the model open in Rhino to iJewel3D, and it runs inside any Rhino-based jewelry app.

Name layers Metal or Gem so the plugin assigns the right materials.

Type iJewelPlatform in the Rhino command line and press Enter.

Installation Guide

Open the Rhino Package Manager
Click the button below to open the package manager in Rhino.
Open in Package ManagerYou can also type PackageManager in the Rhino command line, or use the menu path Tools → Package Manager. Then search for iJewelViewer.
The plugin is also available on Food4Rhino.

Install the plugin
Click Install in the Package Manager, then restart Rhino so the plugin loads.

Verify the installation
Type one of the export commands in the Rhino command line:
iJewelPlatform
iJewelEnterprise (for organizations)
If Rhino recognises the command, the plugin is installed.
Connect with Organization
If your team has an iJewel3D organization, send exports straight to it with the iJewelEnterprise command.

Run the enterprise command
Type iJewelEnterprise in the Rhino command line and press Enter.

Enter your organization name
At the Enter your drive name prompt, type the name from your URL. For https://ijewel3d.com/mydrive, enter mydrive.

Log in and save
The plugin exports the current model and opens the Playground in your organization. You keep your own settings, and files save to your own drive.
Works with your jewelry apps
The plugin is a standard Rhino command, so it runs from the command line inside any Rhino-based jewelry environment, not only in plain Rhino.
Troubleshooting
Rhino does not recognise the command+
Restart Rhino after the install. If Rhino still does not recognise the command, reinstall the plugin from the Package Manager.
Materials look wrong after the export+
The plugin exports geometry only. Name your Rhino layers Metal or Gem, then set the final materials in the iJewel3D editor.
